In Pursuit of the Perfect Tea Pot

My dad was a potter who was in pursuit of the perfect tea pot. A good handle, pouring without drips, a well fitting lid. In his sketchbooks he had endless drawings developing ideas for that perfection. The 'Good' and the tick refers to a finding in one of his very old sketchbooks- as a child I I had decided to mark his efforts with a 'tick' or a 'Good' or sometimes both!

These tea towels have been hand printed in Edinburgh by Fiona McIntosh of Tessuti. Tessuti scotland The nature of the hand printing process means that sometimes the colour changes slightly, making them even more original.
